Acupuncture for Eye Health
Eye conditions respond well to acupuncture and it has been used successfully to treat a wide range of eye problems for centuries. Common eye problems treated with acupuncture include: early-stage cataracts, glaucoma, night blindness, blurred vision, excessive tearing, swelling and pain of the eye or supraorbital region, twitching of the eyelids, eye strain, ptosis, photophobia, dry, itchy, redness eyes etc.
How does acupuncture work for Eye Health?
Acupuncture promotes circulation of energy (life force) and blood around the eyes to nourish the tissue and improve all conditions listed above of the eyes. Acupuncture may ease tired eyes, reduce heavy eye bags and treat underlying causes/disease too.
Course of treatment
There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
