Acupuncture for Meniere's Disease/Vertigo/ Dizziness

flower image Dr. Kong has developed a special acupuncture technique that helps patients with Meniere's Disease successfully.
Meniere's Disease (Named after French physician Prosper Meniere who first described the syndrome) is an abnormality of the inner ear causing a host of symptoms, including vertigo or severe dizziness, tinnitus or a roaring sound in the ears, fluctuating hearing loss, and the sensation of pressure or pain in the affected ear.

How does acupuncture work for Meniere's Disease/Vertigo/ Dizziness

Acupuncture promotes the blood circulation in the region of the brain that reduces inflammation and the accumulation of fluid in the ear. Acupuncture regulates the vegetative nervous system and alleviates symptoms of vertigo and nausea. Acupuncture promotes blood flow to assist the body's natural tendency toward balance and health.

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
